Our food pantry services between 75 and 90 households per month and is intended to provide emergency provisions to those who are not able to purchase all the food they need in any given month. While we do have a geographic area we serve – Willoughby Hills, Kirtland, Kirtland Hills, Waite Hill, and Willoughby south of Route 2 – anyone is welcome to use our pantry including parishioners who may be in need regardless of where they live.
New clients should call 440-946-0887 to make an appointment for an interview during which our services can be further explained and eligibility for those services can be determined.
Our shelves are stocked by the generous monetary and food donations of our parishioners; food donations from our cluster partner, Divine Word; food donations from Harvest for Hunger and the Postal workers and other outside groups; and by the food we regularly purchase from the Greater Cleveland Food Bank. Donations of soaps and paper products (for which we have a particular need) and nonperishable foods are always welcomed and gratefully received. Your contributions can be brought to St. Noel anytime the Church is open.
Blue grocery bags are available in the narthex for you to bring with you to grocery store. Fill the bag and drop in the bin outside the pantry door.
“For I was hungry and you gave me food. . . .whatever you did for one of these brothers or sisters of mine, you did for me.” (Mt. 25:35-41)
