APRIL 7, 2016 Meal – What an amazing evening.

Despite some very unseasonable wintery weather, we broke three hundred people served. All total we served or sent home approx. 447 meals, thanks to 85 St. Noel Neighbors, many of them new to our meal.

The dining room was transformed into a floral paradise thanks to Fran and Jerry Armbruster, Chris Amos, and Sue Trombley. The kitchen was abuzz with action;  Janice Cackowski and Rick Oprzadek’s team of many hands working together to prepare the delicious meatballs, sauce, pasta, salad, and vegetables were amazing to watch. I believe there were twenty people working together in precision, and another half dozen plating yummy desserts.

Chef Michael Regan’s homemade roll ministry was a scrumptious success, working on Tuesday preparing the dough and rolling the rolls for our enjoyment. Let Michael know if you’d like to join that team.

Our dedicated kitchen clean-up team worked hard washing and scrubbing until everything was spic-n-span and back in it’s proper place. St. Noel Neighbors were scattered around the dining room, enjoying the food and fellowship as well as the musical talents of Erik and Ryan Rainey at the piano and helping us clear the dining room afterwards.

Our May Meal will be led by Michael and Barbara Mills, expect another great dinner.

If you’ve had an experience at the meals that you’d like to share with others, or a quote from someone who thanked you for the meal, please send us a short email and we will add your reflection to the  stnoel.org website under “How has participating in St. Noel’s NEIGHBOR to NEIGHBOR Meal blessed you?”

Thank you and Thank God for this wonderful opportunity the St. Noel community is making possible for all of our NEIGHBORS.

See you on May 5th, Sharon and Bill Waltermire
