May 10th: Neighborhood Clean-Up
April showers bring May flowers as well as the need to get lawns ready for a new season.
For some, maintaining a property can be . On Saturday, May 10th, parishioners are invited to get down a dirty and serve people living in our community by offering them basic yard clean-up.
Participants will gather at 11:30am in the large hall. After prayer, they will be sent out to transform the landscapes of their brothers and sisters who need assistance with their yards at this time. The day will conclude back at St. Noel at 4:00pm where there will be refreshments as well as time to change before attending 5:00 mass. Landscaping experience is not required, all you need is a willingness to lend a hand! This is also a wonderful opportunity for families to serve together. Please bring basic lawn equipment with you such as rakes, gloves, tarps, etc. and be sure to label them with your name.
So, who’s yards will we be helping with? If you or someone you know could use help with seasonal clean-up, please sign-up on the kiosk beginning this weekend and let us know what type of assistance you could use.
If this sounds like something you would like to help with, sign-up on the kiosk after mass.
