This past week, I was informed that the expert services of an industrial hygienist must be brought in to further assess our mold situation in the church, as it has been necessary to remove more wood paneling of the ceiling, before remediation. I was disheartened, to say the least, that it will not be safe for us to return to the church in time for Christmas. This leaves us with the space of the Banquet Center.
The staff and I remain committed to keep our faithful safe and to limit the spread of COVID-19. The Banquet Center is a more confined space with less available seating than the church, as we strive to maintain social distancing.
The Christmas Eve and Day Mass schedule, at this time, is: 4:30 PM, 6:30 PM, 12:00 Midnight, and 11:00 AM. We will also offer a beautifully-filmed pre-recorded Christmas Mass with instruments and singing (which we are less than able to do live in-person) for viewing with virtual participation at home.
The staff and I are meeting this Tuesday at 10:00 AM, to plan for Christmas. I’m asking you to take a moment and complete this simple survey, in an effort to assist us with proper planning for meaningful and safe worship.
