Today I ask you to generously support the 2015 Catholic Charities Appeal.
The theme of this year’s appeal is “Open Your Heart to Live Joyfully and Generously!” It is the joy of our encounter with Jesus that fills our heart with love for others and changes the course of our lives. As our Holy Father “calls us to be in the streets…inviting and serving those who have been left out,” I invite you to reflect on what it means to live joyfully and generously and ask you to prayerfully consider participating in the Catholic Charities Appeal.
Each year Catholic Charities assist almost 400,000 people in need by providing meals, shelter, counseling, job training, and hospice for the terminally ill. These actions of service are provided regardless of race, color, religion or disability.
As you leave church next weekend, you will receive a flyer outlining the 2015 Catholic Charities Appeal. On the weekend of February 14th and 15th, we will ask you to make your pledge to the Catholic Charities Appeal here in church.
Some of you may have already received a letter from Bishop Lennon asking for your pledge. Whether you respond by mail or by the in-church appeal on
February 14th and 15th, your donation is important.

2014 TAX INFORMATION – St. Noel has transferred this year to a new data system. Despite our best efforts to merge the new and old systems we now understand that several parishioners received inaccurate 2014 tax statements this January. Some included 2015 donations and others showed duplicate entries. We are now in the process of re-entering the information into the new system. This is a labor-intensive project and we are working diligently to complete it. All parishioners will receive a new statement of their 2014 donations by February 13, 2015.
Please be aware that the statement already sent to you may be inaccurate. If you have any questions or need an updated statement of your 2014 donations before February 13th, please call the parish office.
