Fr Terry’s Update April 9, 2020

The Sacred Paschal Triduum begins with the celebration of Holy Thursday, the Mass of the Lord’s Supper. On this occasion, I blessed a chalice and paten within the context of a Liturgy of the Word, donated in memory of Caitlin M. (Soucek) Kacher (1986-2019) by her husband, Todd. Today marks the one-year anniversary of her death. I celebrated this evening’s Mass privately (with all the angels and saints) and prayed for the intentions of the parishioners of Saint Noel Parish, those made known to me and those held within the silence of their hearts.

Thanks Father Terry for all you are doing to keep us united. A great line I read in an email I received today that puts things in perspective:
“The churches will be empty, but so was tomb!”
Our Savior has risen! Have a Happy Easter to all!
    With Love,
    Pam and Bill

What a wonderful gesture for you to do! We at St.Brendan’s followed her illness with you.
It was a great follow-up to see the vessels & vestment that Todd donated. Certainly a difficult time but you were able to create a beautiful tribute to her & Todd. Thanks Father Terry.
